This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Sure, We can close this for now and will wait for the REST API for SI. Thanks for the update.
We don't have plans to provide a volumes view in SI, but we are looking at providing a REST API so that there's a programmatic interface into SI for automation purposes. This is SSI-I-35. I think this would really be the answer here?
Meantime, the best option would be to automatic looking at each of the stroage controllers and gather the volumes manually.
If you agree that the REST API meets the needs, then I'll close this as a duplicate of that idea and set an expectation that implementation of such an API will not happen until mid 2023 at the very earliest, and probably for this function, later than that.
Can someone please look into this idea and provide the update as soon as possible.
