This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

According to the PLOGI (Port Login) and PRLI (Process Login) are used to establish connections between devices in a SAN (Storage Area Network).
That means source and target WWNPN/WWNN are known. However, the details for the logged in links is only visible on the secondary site but not on the primary site (see attached screen print for reference, only visible here https://ibm-sys-storage.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/DS80-I-265 but not in the ideas.ibm.com page).
This idea aims to get the information displayed at both sites, as showing a successful login, the details shall be available to display as well the WWPN and WWNN accordingly.
PS:
PLOGI (Port Login):
This process initializes the connection between two ports in the SAN. When a device wants to communicate with another, it sends a PLOGI frame to introduce itself and establish a basic connection. PLOGI is therefore used to create a physical connection between ports.
PRLI (Process Login):
After a successful PLOGI, the PRLI process follows. It sets parameters for specific services or processes, such as access to data at the SCSI level. PRLI enables logical connections for specific operations between devices.

Hi
I do not agree that this is fixed. We are running R9.4 but this function as I described above to see it in the GUI and do not run a manual report is not available. That's why I created this Idea and that's why it is not delivered as requested. Please change back the state of the Idea as running a manual report, open a CSV, check in Excel or similar is not the same as having it visible in the GUI as suggested in this idea.
regards
It is available in the GUI. It is a simple pulldown, like the system report, that generates a csv file which, when you simply click on to open. It provides a fantastic view of the data.
