Adding Compute Express Link CXL 3.0 or CXL 4.0 to the IBM DS8000

The future of DS8000 for  IBM Z and LinuxONE will need to add Compute Express Link  CXL 3.0 or CXL 4.0 interface to the DS8000 to satisfy the needs of the AI Data centers.

Please, refer to the other  complementary idea "Adding Compute Express Link CXL3.0 based on PCIe6 and CXL4.0 based on PCIe7 to the IBM Z and IBM LinuxONE [ZL1S-I-415]"

    Rejected. Please specify in terms of functional requirements or business requirements. Explain something you want, not especifically how IBM should do it. You may have a something here that you really want, but as it´s worded today, it´s not a requirement. Thanks.
