DS8K Storage connection to CSM via HMC mode - static password is Audit exposure

Currently to add a DS8K using HMC connection in CSM, we use a separate ID (admin level) created for this which has static password. We cannot use direct connection. This is an audit risk where we cannot have static passwords. Can an alternate procedure be built may be via certificates or something to access DS8K? I have opened RFE 80919 to CSM but they declined saying "CSM would need the DS8000 to provide a certificate based or alternative connection solution. Please open an RFE on the DS8000 side"
