    Sometimes it is needed to make a permanent backup of a good known state of a system, an archive of a sort that will not be deleted by expiration. There should be a way to lock a single backup/prevent its standard expiration and deletion.

    Add the IBM Case Number to the DS8K Event when a Call Home is performed

    By having the Case Number in the Events logs, this saves time involved with logging on to the DS8K HMC to obtain the Case Number. It can also be useful in identifying situations where AOS is not operating correctly (no Case Number generated).

    Emergency/recovery encryption key generation for External Disk Encryption with TS7700

    On DS8K there is an option for creating an emergency/Recovery Key on a USB stick - a final resort in case the GKLM setup is fully damaged. Such 'final backdoor option' is not existing for TS7700. We absolutely need same functionality for the TS7700.
