Deep Archive Integration with Microsoft Entra ID

IBM Storage Deep Archive software version 1.2.0 does not currently support integration with Microsoft Entra ID for administrative access. This feature would be particularly useful for customers requiring this kind of integration, and would greatly increase the adoption of this technology when integration of this kind is required

    IBM Storage Deep Archive 1.2.0 currently operates with its own local authentication model, lacking support for Microsoft Entra ID integration. Enabling Entra ID–based sign‑on would allow administrators to authenticate using their corporate Azure AD credentials, centralizing identity management. Furthermore, Entra ID integration unlocks the ability to enforce multi‑factor authentication (MFA) and conditional‑access policies.

    This capability is especially important in regulated industries—such as media broadcasting, healthcare, and finance—where enterprise‑grade identity, audit trails and strong authentication are mandatory.
