Quorum override like functionality for PBHA Merged

For HyperSwap there was a quorum override functionality which made it possible to bring online volumes on the array which did not won the quorum race. It was the only (official) way to get access to the data in some "disaster" cases when the only thing that left  was one array/system. Personally I saw one case after the flooding where both arrays had to be powered off and one had to stay turned off for a few weeks. After launching the Quorum Override procedure (one CLI command) the volumes were again online and after few minutes Client was able to start his VMs (it was 100% vShere environment).

From what  I was able to gather from the documentation and from IBM representatives, for PBHA there is no direct replacement for Quorum Override procedure and currently the only official way to get access to the offline volumes on an array which was powered off or did not won the quorum race is to use the "accessstalecopy" command.

The problem with it is that it generates new UUIDs for all the volumes within the partition and deletes all the volume-host mappings. As a result, you are left with volumes being online but the mappings have to be recreated from scratch and after that the Host OS needs to "import" the data volumes. In case of vSphere resignature the VMFS datastore volumes, for physical hosts (Linux/AIX) VG needs to be imprted etc. It looks like quite a lot of things needs to be done to bring the systems back online.

It would be beneficial to have additional parameters like "-preserveuuids" and "-preservemappings" for the "accessstalecopy" command.

As with quorum override the use of such command/arguments should be preceded by contacting with the Supprot and/or going through a strict checklist (zone config, physical removal of Partnership and Host I/O  connections for the other system from PBHA pair, etc.).
