FlashSystem PB HA: stale partiton recovery while keeping vdisk UUID and mappings

In PBHA environment, in case of disaster on site where client has preferred managed system and IP quorum, stale partition on remote site can be recovered with chpartition -accessstalecopy.

Command will remove replication policy, but will also change UUID od vdisks and remove all vdisk mappings. This will allow access to vdisk, but recovery process of virtual hosts (PowerVM LPARs) or clusters that use UUID (like PowerHA) is complex and it takes lot of time.

If we could offer customers option to remove replication policy from stale partition while keeping UUID and vdisk mappings, we would significantly help our customers. Recovery of all virtual environments will be much easier, and it would take much less time, they could use simplified remote restart of their LPARs, without any additional steps for recovery.

    is this on the roadmap? Nov 2024 and no sign of this basic HyperSwap functionality missing in PBHA. It prevents many migrations and new implementations where BPs or customers are hesitant
