Migrate SVC volumes from/to pools with different extent sizes

Would it be possible to add a feature/fuction that volumes can be migrated from a pool to another where the pools (source and target pool) have different extent sizes?

That would be verry helpful for migration tasks in long grown environments where different IBM backend systems have pools on the IBM SVC with different extent sizes.

Thank you.

    Yes, thats correct

In SVC with mirrored volumes (so you have 2 copys, no 3. copy is possible) you have no options to migrate this volume to another pool with another extent size.

Pool 1 and 2 with Extent Size 1GB - FlashSystem are 5 Years old

Pool 3 and 4 with Extent Size 4GB - FlashSystem is new.

At the moment there are no option in storage to do a migration.

Only when you delete one copy and create it new - but this is in Strechted Cluster not an option.

Using addvdiskcopy achieves this but I guess this idea (as it mentions SVC) is meant to ask for a new method of moving a vdisk from one pool into another even if there's already 2 copies (default in ESCs)...?
