Support Volume Expansion For More Platforms in Spectrum Virtualize Family

Currently, Spectrum Virtualize products (SVC, etc) only support volume expansion for AIX and Windows hosts. Other Operating Systems, such as Linux, support volume expansion. IBM should expand their support statement to include those.

TSM for DB support for Oracle 12c on AIX 7.1

Customer is upgrading Oracle to version 12c on AIX 7.1 64 bit. They use RMAN and TSM for DB to back up Oracle. They require support for this combination, which isn't in TSM for DB 7.1 per the support page.

The SUCCESSFUL field in the SUMMARY table is not a valid representation of the "success" or "failure" of Backup-Archive Client operations. Rather, it maps to the "Normal server termination" field in the TSM server accounting records.
