hello, this is not really a new feature. on ibm webpages, solaris 10 x86 is "not supported" for the server and client. so it wood be good to have versions for solaris10 x86

TSM NDMP Support for EMC VNXe backups

We would like the ability to backup CIFS shares on an EMC VNXe (Low cost storage array, supports CIFS only) storage array. This would be via NDMP protocol.

Is there any way to replicate a node excluding certain file extensions?

Is there any way to replicate a node excluding certain file extensions? I know we can choose the filespace and the data type (backup/archive), but I could not find any way to do it with this level of granularity.

SnapProtect functionnality with TSM using VMware and LVM

SnapProtect is a new function from the nSeries. We need TSM to catalog the snapshots created by the nSeries and be able to restore file level directly from the snapshot. Other solution on the market is already available to offer this solution.

Allow automatic checkin of returned DRM volumes

It would be useful to be able to checkin tapes that have come back from offsite as scratch automatically, instead of having to do a MOVE DRM on them first (or after checking in as private).
