Adding a vSnap to 2 SPP appliances

The current Spectrum Protect Plus topology allows only one management (Spectrum Protect Plus VM) appliance to connect vSnaps.We should be able to add a vSnap to 2 different Spectrum Protect Plus appliances.

When we increase a disk of a VMClient a Full VE backup is the result.

When we change a VMClient disk for example from 5TB to 10GB TSM is making a full VE backup.

Send actlog to a remote syslog, a central loghost

There is a possibility to program userexit/fileexit to use syslog. But, the nativ support of remote syslog is needed as a standard solution. Send all entries that goes to actlog to remote syslog as a single line.

Spectrum Protect Operations Center should display the TDP Client version as well as BA Client API version

In Spectrum Protect OC. I have TDP SQL clients showing version 8.1.7.1. That version does not exist for TDP SQL clients but it does exist for Windows BA client which means that the TDP node is showing the BA client version.

Backport lsportstats to 8.3.1.x code stream

In the SVC 8.4 code SFP statistics have been made visible via the CLI lsportstats command. We would like to see this backported to the SVC 8.3.1.x code stream which is the current advised code stream by IBM.

When cases are created it would be beneficial if we could change the case owner from the default based on who is dealing with the issue .

This would prevent unnecessary updates to the default case owner when they may not be interested . When we have a large number of cases to deal with sometime it would be better to just get updates for cases that you are interested in .

Client memory automatically shrinks.

When clients open a lot of files, MMFSD takes up a lot of memory. When the file is closed, the memory should be freed automatically.
