Spectrum Data Copy Management should be able to disable archive log mode on the target

SCDM should be able to bring up a target database and take it out of archive log mode. Most users do not run test copies of their databases in archive log mode.

Spectrum Copy Data Management should update /etc/fstab

SCDM should automatically update /etc/fstab on linux targets when it mounts replicated filesystems and also remove them when unmounting them. Then filesystems will automatically be mounted if the target system reboots.

Support IBM S3 interfaces provided by IBM products on SPP+

The only supported S3 interface from IBM is "IBM CLOUD SORAGE". Technote 1087149 lists the "s3 compatible storage providers" and there is not ONE product listed there from IBM. Spectrum Protect, and Spectrum Scale come to mind, but I am SURE there...

Allow client migration from VSNAP to OSSM and back again

Currently to migrate a client from OSSM to Vsnap storage requires deleting ALL recovery points for that client. This is worse than migrating to a different backup vendor. I have NO backups for that client simply because I want to change my backend...

Since Repository server will not allow SPP+ Catalog backup , support "S3 Compatible on TSM server", Then backup Catalog to S3 on TSM.

I have an open PMR because I already have TSM with a tape based Disaster recovery solution because I have no networked second site to use as a DR capability. We are not Internet connected with these systems, which removes typical S3 DR solutions, ...

Replication job shows as error

SPP shows a replication job as a failure, but only because there was nothing to replicate not because of an actual error. Perhaps the error message type could be changed here so the job doesn't fail.

Changing the mnt directory from root to dedicated file system

If we have a dedicated filesystem, it won't affect the space on root file system on Production servers. In our environment only, we faced the situation like the root file system is full due to this /mnt/spp/vsnapx/fspooly/ directory.

Have the ability to choose the backup node in oracle

Spectrum protect plus does not currently have the ability to choose the preferred node for backups in the case of oracles like in the exchange for example, and we have this in question for some customers, who do not want to change in oracle
