[Copy] Support TDP for MSSQl running on Linux

MS is now supporting MS-SQL running on Linux. It would be nice to do a backup of that too.

Storage Protect server and storage agent should be supported to run on AIX 7.3 TL4

We need to update all our AIX hosts to AIX 7.3 TL4 in near future. Because of this, we require that the Storage Protect server and storage agent are supported to run on AIX 7.3 TL4.

Please add VMWare cloud Foundation 9 to the supported hypervisors.

We have customers that still use Storage protect for virtual environments and Broadcom forces them to change to VMWare Cloud Foundation in the near future and if Storage Protect does not support this they have to switch the an other backup tool.

Files with only ctime changes treated as unchanged by Storage Protect, creating a mismatch in mmbackup’s summary. Adding the unchanged count into Storage Protect and mmbackup’s comparison prevent “skipped files” messages.

The restriction of maximum VMDK size for data protection for VMWARE should be increased

While current maximum VMDK size defined by VMware vSphere on VMFS is up to 62TB, the ISP for VE will allow backup only disks up to 8 TB - larger disks will fail. It should be increased to keep up with the product features.

TDP support for SAP HANA 2.0 SPS 8 for SLES on Power

TDP for ERP 8.1.11 supports only SAP HANA 2.0 SPS7. Support for SPS8 needed, which is availible since Nov 2024.
