This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

To clarify on the previous comment:
When the customer sets the tenant name, does this appear in the alias field if the alias is unset?
If this is the case, then this solves the issue the original poster is getting at.
If this is not the behavior and there is no change to the tile name, then this does not satisfy the request of the original poster, which is to create clarity on the MyIBM Dashboard for Storage Insights instances.
Showing the tenant name (set at registration time) in the Carbon UI is good. However, that doesn't address the identical tiles to launch Storage Insights from the MyIBM dashboard. There is a separate alias that can be set there by the administrator that once applied is visible to all users of the tenant.
There is no link between the tenant name set at registration and the alias set in the MyIBM dashboard.
This behavior has been fixed with a workaround in the new Carbon UI. In the new Carbon UI the admin can see the name of the Tenant. Moreover, the admin can change the name of the tenant by raising a ticket. Let us know if further help is required.
Customer specifies a "company name" to identify their Storage Insights instance when they register for it. That name shows up in the SI header (carbon) while they are using it. Would be ideal to set the alias with that name that they specified during the registration.
