Metro DR and Regional DR for Fusion SDS (Fusion Data Foundation) without external IBM Ceph dependency

Our customer Euro Information is a very large banking company. They are planning to deploy an OpenShift environment with their common requirements in terms of storage resilience using several datacenters. This means using Metro DR with synchronous replication and Regional DR with asynchronous replication. Those two features  are required before considering any storage solution for OpenShift. In the current version of Storage Fusion SDS (2.5), our understanding it that only Metro DR is available with ODF (Fusion Data Foundation) but based on an external CEPH.

This request for enhancement is to get at least a 2023 roadmap for Metro DR and Regional DR using internal CEPH (container native) or even if possible an availability of those 2 capabilities as soon as possible in 2023.

    Regional DR available in Tech Preview runs across two separate OpenShift clusters using asych replication with internal Fusion Data Foundation. This capability is planned for GA in an upcoming release..

    We really need a confirmed roadmap during 2023 for the regional DR feature of Fusion Data Foundation to be generally available for production use. It's currently in Technology Preview and it impacts us heavily.
