To appropriate assess this request, some clarifications are desired as what kind of backup status information is desired. With FastBack for Workstations and continuous backup, files generally are backed up throughout the day. What kind of reports are desired and how are they used? What specific status information is being sought? For example, would a backup latency report be desired? In other words, are you asking to provide a way to configure the client to report on backup latency at a schedule interval such as once a day to determine if it completed the previous interval's backups?
Additionally, when referring to report extraction, is the request to be able to view the report outside the CAC interface either through a mechanism such as an email report or PDF / XML / CSV type of data export?
