Enabling parallel I/O when migrating date from file-pool to tape-pool due to synchronous sequential write

With a traditional Storage Protect implementation with backup to file-pool the migragtion from file-pool to tape-pool is limited on disk latency to reach optimized a high throuhgput on tape. For an example with a disc latency of 2ms you can reach 500 I/Os per second. With the given 256KB Blocksize of ISP there is a maximum througput of 128MB/s possible per drive and that is far away, what an LTO-Drive can process.
Therefore we are looking for an improvement to do parallel I/O reads from file-pool getting a faster write to tape.

Due to the ever-increasing volume of data, a functional enhancement through parallel writing by Storage Protect is an important feature and essential.
