Need more than 16 WWPN Support Per WWPN

The customer needs to place an Emc VMax3 behind the SVC. The VMax has 128 WWPN and SVC only supports 16..
Customer: "One of my concerns with SVC in front of VMAX storage is the limited number of paths that are supported (16). THIS IS NOT A BANDWIDTH ISSUE.

In a fully configured VMAX there are 64 Front End (FA) ports. There are actually 128 but we only use 64. Each of the 64 ports has a front-end processor that handles the I/O requests that come in to that port. Each processor can handle a certain number of IOPS. In order to get maximum performance out of a VMAX you have to use all the FA ports - think Horizontal Scaling, or Scale-Out."

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Storage
Product - IBM System Storage SAN Volume Controller (SVC) / Spectrum Virtualize

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Tivoli
    Product family - Storage
Product - IBM System Storage SAN Volume Controller (SVC) / Spectrum Virtualize

We were in the same scenario, it is a complete waste of FA ports for VMAX(s) and other systems including DS with this limitation
