This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Upgraded from 7.2.0.5 to 7.2.0.8 when 2nd node hit 1862 error. Single RtC volume went offline. Same volume affected from last PMR 68963,122 on 5/5/14. IBM advised customer to remove host disk mapping associated w/ vol 66 and run repairsevdisk copy 66 and pull snap+4 after for RCA.
RCA showed that this was left over from previous repair action on RtC volume on 5/5/14.
It would seem that more or any Real-time Compression health checking prior to the upgrade would have caught the RtC volume being flagged as corrupt prior to it being accessed by the new config node and taking the volume offline.
