RELATED IDEAS

SVC to have fail safe code if someone is trying to compress data that is not compressible. Applicable to V7000 too.

The SVC, and V7000 needs some sort of safety measure for the Realtime Compression feature. If the customer is trying to compress something that is not compressible, then the SVC/V7000 should be able to recognize it as such, stop it's compression efforts for that volume, and give an error message. Larger customers are siloed organizations, in which they don't have interaction with the application folks and don't know what type of data is on the volumes.
