Automatic Safegurded volumes to s3 or COS

With safeguarded copy, we have a fantastic solution to provide an immutable copy of a volume. Rapid recovery is effective if the volume resides on the storage array, however, with ransoware taking 200+ days to detect, it is less likely this volume will be on the array.
on-prem or cloud object stores, such as IBM COS, AWS S3 and Azure Blob enable immutable copies to be stored and recovered, so having the Flashsystem managing the safeguarded copy all the way through to the Object tier makes perfect sense.
This could also be an extension to easytier as a long-term lower cost tier similar to what is available on Spectrum Scale.
I think this would also improve our hybrid cloud message.

    This is a requirement for my customer. They are thinking of saving copies in a IBM COS/Ceph on premises solution for these SGC.

    TCT target to "any" compatible S3 object store would be a very nice addition to this feature.

    A good request, I like to add that ISP could also be a target over its soon improved S3 (object client) capability to have a copy on tape.
