Raising iSER sessions to 1024 per node

PayPal/GoPay purchased some 9200s for a large VMware environment with iSER connectivity, and we hit the 256 session limitation per controller. We desperately need to increase the iSer sessions from 256 to 1024 per controller.

The iSER cards are connected to:
RPQ 897-84073 for VMware ESXi 7.0 with iSER/RoCE.
VMware ESXi 7.0
Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx EN
Cisco Nexus 9336C-FX2 Switch 36-port

Thank you for submitting this enhancement request.

After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming deliverable because it is not consistent with our move to NVMe over RDMA and our strategy for future deliverables.

We appreciate your input and hope that you will continue to submit enhancement requests, as this feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Spectrum Virtualize and FlashSystem family.

    Thanks,
    SpecV Team
