CLI command to show email notification status (Started or Stopped)

On occasion we have disabled notifications to suppress alerting during changes but have forgotten to turn it back on again. we know in the CLI we can "startemail" and "stopemail" to control the notifications but we cannot find a way to show whether notifications are enabled or disabled.

    I have since discovered that this is already possible using the lssystem command.
    There is an output line showing the state if email notifications called "email_state"
    This will show running or stopped depending on the status.
