This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

As discussed with Albert Verhoef (IBM Pre-Sales Storage) I'll submit the following issue where we urgently needs a fix for:
Our application can only use ONE volume. This volume is can be between 20TB to 347 TB in size.
Test set on site is built as follows:
Two Storwize V5000 storage devices. Remote copy is configured using the IBM redbooks as reference. We use remote copy with "Global mirror with Change volumes" and One consistency group which contains one volume replication relation between both storwize devices. When we start de replication the replication speeds is capped at approx. 25 Mbsec
Options which adjusted (from 50% to 100%) , but didn't have impact on the replication speed:
- RC--> Partnership --> Background copy =100%
- RC --> Source volume --> Backrgound Copy rate = 100%
- RC --> vDisk0 copy rate= 100%
Tests were performed on firmware level v.7.5.0.2
In the recent pas we tried the same procedure, but then on firmware V7.4.0.2 and we did noticed a much higher replication speed (see attachment).
