Request for improvement of AIX multipath driver (SDDPCM)

Since the customer is executing online applications for the train ticket reservation system which would abend transactions with 5 seconds I/O timeout in case that any H/W failure triggers a path failover, the following request is raised from the client.

・ Minimize the retry count to perform the path failover immediately to keep I/O serviced less than 5 seconds.

The client is using AIX SDDPCM for multipath driver, which is to wait 5 seconds then retry 3 times (hard coding) by current design, that means it takes 20 seconds to switch to an alternate path in case of permanent path failure. Therefore, we would like to have the selectable retry count from 0 to 3 so that our client can choose their appropriate retry count to meet their requirement.
