Need the semi promised disk drive upgrade utility for Storwize V7000

I am in ATS and am regularly being asked when we will have an automated way to upgrade all drive firmware on the SWV7K. We have customers run the upgradetest utility prior to doing software upgrades and it warns that drive firmware is not current and should be upgraded. However there is no utility to help automate this as dev sort of promised and now you have to issue a CLI cmd to do this for every drive in your system. Very tedious when a script would help at a minimum but should be in the GUI and not sure why not automatically done as all other firmware in the SWV7K enclosures is done automatically as part of software upgrade.

Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Storage
    Product - IBM Storwize V7000, V5000 and V3000

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

I used the script that Daniel suggested in the comment above and it worked like a charm.. takes about 20-30 secs per drive.

Until this feature is released, there is a very handy script here on Anthony Vandewerdt's blog to help you do this:

We have this as an item for inclusion in one of the upcoming releases. We are attempting to include it in the next release but if we can't include it there, it will likely be the following release.
