Hi Support,

Please could you Post in RED/BOLD informing customers to not install, previous downloaded images.

With the recent release of v8.7.0.10 and withdrawal from download site.
we have flashsystem 5200 and flashsystem 5300.

I downloaded v8.7.0.9 and successfully upgraded 2x fs5200 non-production systems 5th Feb2026.

This was verify stability and before upgrading other production systems to this version.

by chance i downloaded updated test file.

few days later i attempted to upgrade the first flashsystem 5300 to v8.7.0.9 and it failed with the error
Build version 260130_1158

Upgrade to 8.7.0.9 is not supported on FS5300 due to SVAPAR-191281.
This issue will be resolved in a future PTF.

Results of running svcupgradetest:

The tool has found 1 errors and 0 warnings.
One issue will prevent the system being
updated to 8.7.0.9 until it has been resolved

I think if IBM could communicate such issues via email/ even specifically to those whose downloaded the affected code, this could be very helpful.
