RELATED IDEAS

Create PBR relationship from Replication ports - and not from Management Port 1only.

We are replacing Netapp Storage at customer which has 2 sites.
They are doing replication between the 2 sites on dedicated layer2 network.
We have FS5300, with 2 ports dedicated to replication , why the PBR must be configure from the primary management IP, which is port 1 only ?
And not via the replication ports - which are dedicate isolate network ?

Now, customer can not open layer3, or the management vlan to the DR site - security reasons ...

Only option is now to connect Port 1 management network to replication network too (if they can add 1Gb copper to 10Gb lan switch), and define Port 2 as customer management network.

    Other than for debugging and support issues, can you describe why you might need to suspend HA on a partition?
