IBM FlashSystems using PBR is readonly on the AIX Hosts. Cannot send any IO to the luns so the AIX host is failing the paths.

IBM FlashSystems using PBR is no IO (No read or write) on the Mirror/DR side impacting operation procedures on the AIX Hosts. They cannot send any IO to the luns so the AIX host is failing the Paths.

Validate the paths are clean by doing a healthcheck prior to any maintenance or LPM activity. Tools like nmon, tivoli and other monitoring programs are trying to do IO to the disks causing the failed paths and flooding messages to the error logs.
