Throttle/QoS for Volume Groups

Hello,

I would like to suggest an enhancement that could combine throttle and volume groups.

Since we are moving to volume groups related to all aspects and is possible to define the RPO objective (of PBR) directly in the replication policy, one possibility that can help customer to achieve applications SLA is the implementation of throttle directly to a group of volumes with the same policy.

My suggestion, if is possible, when we are doing the setup of a volume group the Storage Virtualize have an option to define the throttle/QoS inside the policy. In that way, customer will have one more option to group volumes with the same goal.

Maybe the idea below, related to throttle, can be mixed with mine.
