This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Every time I log into my FlashSystem UI it tells me there is an update recommended, suggesting the latest non-LTS release. In our production environment, we only want to be notified when an LTS update is available. A setting to "only show updates for LTS releases" would be preferred so we are not nagged to update to non-LTS releases that we have no intention of using.

This new feature is limiting the "Update System" page in the "Preferred releases", but on 8.7.0.2 with this feature enabled I am still seeing the notification every time I log in suggesting I update to non-LTS release 8.7.2.2.
I would have expected this notification to recommend the newer LTS release 8.7.0.3. Setting the code level preference to "Long term support releases" should stop any notifications for non-LTS releases.
