Improve alerting when "Call home using Cloud Services” randomly stops working

We have noticed that “Call home using Cloud Services” randomly stops working our 9500 arrays causing gaps in our performance data. This has happened before on our arrays and there is no alerting that tells us, either on the array, or within Storage insights, that Call home using Cloud Services has stopped working. I raised case TS015046532 to address this but was told this is probably due to a network issue or a bug on the arrays.
 

This Product Improvement Request has been raised to improve the notifications on both the array and Storage Insights so that if Cloud Services stops working, we are notified and can fix the issue.

 

Logging into SI or each array every day to check they are working correctly is not really feasible.
