Ability to set a low water mark used capacity threshold for flash/SCM tiers.

Hypothetical Use case:

Easy tier hybrid pool with tier 0 flash, tier 1 flash and tier nearline.

In the current scenario, when a lot of cold data resides on tier 1, these extents will be migrated to nearline regardless of whether tier 1 extents are in demand or not.

If we could set a minimum fullness threshold for a tier(when not in demand), we can prevent higher performing tiers from being evacuated unnecessarily.

The benefit to the client is that they will get the maximum benefit from their financial investment. (ie. tier 0/1 flash mdisks are not sitting empty and idle).

    Thank you for submitting this enhancement request. While we would like to implement all the Ideas we receive, for maximum transparency we are closing enhancement requests that don’t currently appear on our near-term roadmap. We may revisit this request in the future.
