Incorporate Azure MFA

The MFA feature in the Flashsystem series requires one to setup either an IBM or a Duo Security solution which is costly and redundant as most companies today have Azure MFA at their disposal.

So it would be very nice if the Flashsystem in the future will support Azure MFA in either of the two possible ways:

1) Using Azure SAML

2) By supporting RADIUS authentication. One can setup a Windows NPS server with the Azure MFA plugin installed, and that way accomplish the same.

Thx - wasn't aware of the newer SSO possibility, that's great. You can disregard this request then.

Thank you for submitting this Idea. We are currently evaluating your request.

For native multifactor authentication (GUI and CLI) where FlashSystem handles the first factor, the second factor requires multifactor authentication service (like IBM or Duo).

For single sign-on (GUI only) where authentication is delegated to the identity provider, you can do SSO to MS Azure AD directly and Azure MFA is supported behind Azure AD.

See list of authentication methods here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/flashsystem-9x00/8.6.x?topic=configuring-user-authentication

    Thanks,
    FlashSystem Team
