What version was the customer on?
The volume grid refresh is actually there on purpose and it updates the grid content automatically whenever the system notifies of changes to volumes on the list (add, delete, change a volume).
However, we have done some updates recently to consolidate events and reduce the annoyance of refreshing and losing scroll position/menu.
