SVC/Storwize Host objects & FC hosts limits Merged

The SVCs and V7000s are used in a VMControl environment. The AIX LPARs each have 4 or 12 HBA ports. With VMControl, each HBA port is registered as an individual host object to SVC/V7000; so for a single server with 4 HBA ports, 4 individual hosts objects are registered. Due to each port being registered as a Host object, the SVCs/V7000s are reaching the maximum Host objects and Fibre Channel hosts limits. Since VMControl only provisions from the first I/O group, using a second I/O group is not a good resolution. We are requesting that the following limits be raised:
- Host objects (IDs) per I/O group: Increase from 512 to 2048
- Fibre Channel hosts per I/O group: Increase from 512 to 2048
- Fibre Channel host ports per I/O group: Increase from 1024 to 2048
- Fibre Channel host ports per system: Increase from 4096 to 8196
- Host objects (IDs) per system: Increase from 2048 to 8196
- Fibre Channel hosts per system: Increase from 2048 to 8196
