Builtin scheduler for creating Spectrum Virtualize snapshots

Customer had a competitor's array which has a builtin scheduler for creating snapshots. He is requesting same functionality.
We have SPP to address some requirements but not all, for e.g. file and print volumes which are really large

    New volume group based Snapshot 2.0 was released in 2Q22 (8.5.1) with built-in scheduler

    Thank you for your support of Spectrum Virtualize. Your comments and feedback are important to us.

    We do not have plans in the near-term to build this functionality in to the Virtualize GUI. We may revisit again in the future. The first priority is to focus on simplifying basic snapshot + restore functions in the GUI.

    For scheduling, we recommend leveraging Spectrum CDM or CSM (Copy Services Manager).

    CSM (Copy Services Manager) should be used in this case as it makes setting up flashcopies and replication much simpler than within the SVC/Storwize GUI.
