IBM needs policies to exclude specific data from creation and deletion scheduling for Storage Scale

General Motors is using the GUI for basic creation and deletion scheduling, but they have written manual scripts to exclude specific data. In our architecture, when a snapshot of a complete filesystem is taken, it automatically snapshots every fileset inside it. Since they want to exclude or remove certain fileset data from that snapshot, they have to run those manual scripts—which creates the extra overhead.
If this is the exact issue, we currently do not have a built-in GUI feature to manage snapshot exclusions, and it is not on our immediate roadmap. However, this is a great enhancement request, and I think it’s worth opening a discussion with our product team to see if we can get it planned for a future release.
