'rate' as a filtervalue parameter for lsvdisk

Ability to issue 'lsvdisk' command and have a filtervalue of 'rate' to identify those vdisks that have throttling applied. Currently one has to issue 'lsvdisk' command to all vdisks to identify which are being throttled.

The stopfcmap command sends an informational alert when it is sucessful. I would like to see the rmfcmap command behave in the same manner and issue an informational alert

SVC rediscover new/changed mdisk paths non disruptively

Ability to modify paths to mdisks and have svc either dynamically, or via a command, rescan and discover these paths and then rebalance mdisks on all paths. This is to be non disruptive to any on going I/O.

It would be nice to have space efficient flashcopies and clones of a source volume on SVC without the current dependencies (SVC flashcopy mapping list is really stringent).

The XIV should be able to prohibit a LUN from being unmapped or deleted should there be any I/O. Although, there still could be a need to remove a LUN from a clustered server group (removing a server from the cluster). We would like the option to ...

SVC Command Serialization (SYS4580)

Optional Serialization of Commands to aid in automation.For example, being able to have a migrateextent complete before returning would greatly simplify automation of migration, as this single thread approach saves a lot of logic.
