Important Telco company (Vodefaone) need to support RedHat v5.9 with Spectrum Protect PLUS.They have some internal applications and it's impossible to upgrade RH version and oython 2.4.The objective it's to protect (with SPP) Oracle 10g.

Reporting in TSM Operations Center

Given that TSM Operations Center is the direct replacement to the no longer maintained Administration Center, it would be nice to incorporate the Tivoli Common Reporting features into the TSM Operations Center.

DB2 problems are not reported to TSM

see also 36996,033,724. here the TSM server crashed hours after the first error occurrence. No warnings in actlog. thats not acceptable. DIA8411C A file "S0035583.LOG" could not be found.DIA8312C Disk was full.

Backup Client for Debian Linux

Debian und viele andere Linuxdistributionen (z.B. Ubuntu, Univention, Knopix, ...) nutzen nicht das RedHat Packeage format rpm, sondern ein anderes Format namens .deb. Damit ist man bei der Erstellung der Pakete immer auf zusätzliche Konvertierung...
