Have the ability to choose the backup node in oracle

Spectrum protect plus does not currently have the ability to choose the preferred node for backups in the case of oracles like in the exchange for example, and we have this in question for some customers, who do not want to change in oracle

Bind DNS out of date software version

Agency is required to update to the current stable versions of BIND DNS. Internet Systems Consortium no longer issues security updates for out-of-date versions of BIND DNS.

Skip recall when files are open()ed with O_TRUNC

Adding this feature it would prevent many unnecessary recalls. As recalls from tape are an expensive operation it would improve the performance of the filesystem.

Spectrum Protect should support Linux GFS2 filesystem

GFS2 is the standard filesystem used by Red Hat clusters for concurrent storage. It's in the same class of filesystem storage as GPFS (Spectrum Scale)
