Build 3390 with a track size 64K or larger.

Currently 3390 has a track size around 54Kb. It would be great to have a track 64Kb to write larger records in VSAM.  We have a need in our Medical Record System stores several procedure codes and we are always running out of space in the record.  If CICS expands the record size in File Control Program beyond 32Kb the we can use a larger track.  This will allow us to use CICS channel and containers to write data bigger the we currently done with CICS commarea.

    Rejected from a DS8000 perspective as not practical or rerouted to somewhere in CICS to get them to discuss options for handling larger records in their application.
    It is not practical to make the changes that would be necessary throughout the z/OS software stack to change the 3390 track size. Other software/application programming techniques should be used to handle this requirement.
