RPO Timestamp with Global Mirror recovery

We recently converted from MzGM to MGM.  With MzGM, XRC provided an extremely granular timestamp on XRECOVER that told us what the specific RPO of our application data was.    Along with RTO, RPO is one of the single most important concepts for Disaster Recovery.     We have many hundreds of applications and in a disaster they need to know what the specific RPO of the data we are providing them is, especially knowing asynchronous replication likely lost some of that data due to a disaster.   With GM providing an RPO appears to be guesswork - our interpretation of some Netlog/SYSLOG messages can vary from reality by tens of thousands of transactions given the speed of DASD I/O circa 2023.

We would like to see IBM enhance Global Mirror recovery so that we are provided with a very granular/specific timestamp that gives us a real RPO.

Rejected. This is not in near or long term in CS roadmap. Maybe more education on MGM will help customer on the granularity request. It´s not a short term solution we can develop.
