One command to replicate all existing logical volumes to the new TS7700 cluster after joining GRID

Currently when a new TS7700 cluster is integrated into the GRID configuration there is only one method to replication the existing volumes on this new cluster. So the new rules of the management policies must be retrieved for every logical volume that is replicated to the new TS7700 cluster.
This method is based on the execution of LI REQ COPYRFSH commands and one command must be executed for each logical volume.

When there are several tens thousands of logical volumes to replicate this requires several tens thousands of commands to be executed. Thus this method of synchronizing data between TS7700 clusters in the GRID configuration requires a lot of processing times and human resources.

So the customer would like to have an automatic process to replicate existing logical volumes from current TS7700 cluster to the new TS7700 cluster.

This is can be done via IBM Lab Services as a paid service. Team is currently investigating for future automation; however, there is not target date nor certainty that this would be available in the future.
