This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM System Storage products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

We are a large shop with a large number of VTS clusters to manage (72 currently). Having this many clusters means a lot of additional work when logging on to that many GUI's to manage the various statuses and configuration settings. In order to more effectively manage this environment we need a tool similar to what is being provided through the IBMDSCLI to manage our DS8886's. That batch tool is very comprehensive in the fact that most if not all of the configuration can be done through the DSCLI.
At a minimum we would request that IBM provide display commands of these TS7700 VTS onstructs:
Storage Groups
Management Classes
Storage Classes
Data Classes
We would also like the same for the Cluster Settings (Copy Policy Override at a minimum).
In addition we would like to modify at least the management class settings as those are much more dynamic than the other settings that rarely get changed. Eventually we would like a batch type option to change any of the settings that today require GUI access. Of course, this should have standard security around the issuance of the command.
