Secure Passwords for TS7700 MI/GUI with local user accounts: longer passwords and also special characters

Because of increasing Security Standards, we have the requirement to use Passwords with a Length of 21 Characters for administrative Accounts. Also we have to use Special characters, in addition to numeric and alphanumeric characters for higher Password security.

 

We are using local user accounts on our TS7700 Systems and currently the TS7700 administrative GUI/MI only supports Passwords with a length of 6-16 characters and only alpha-numeric characters are supported.
