Set Up virtual volumes Pools for different z/OS applications

We want to define different volume pools and address them via Storage Class, so that we can specify from the z/OS side which application (via Storage Class ACS routine) writes to which virtual volume pool (logical volume range).

In this way, we can easily determine which volume belongs to which z/OS application. This way the gathering of information about a specific Application or virtual volume Range would be easier and sped up for the customer

Right now you can specify storage classes for different workloads and you can point your ACS routines from the host perspective to those storage classes. Can you elaborate on this need, we are not really understanding the ask.
