Integration with Storage Insights

Hello Product Team,

It is an imperative that our solutions have the ability to be easy managed by our customers, adding the fact that Mainframe customers are contracting younger professionals that are much more familiar to interact with web interface.

With all that in mind, I would like to suggest the TS7700 be integrated to the Storage Insights.

With that integration customer will have a web interface to interact with all systems, a dashboard to manage the healthy / status of one or more machines, an easier way to create alerts, a simpler view to of performance or , thinking in possibilities, maybe integrate the IBM Tools (VEHSTATS) results with Storage Insights to create reports of capacity, utilization, performance, etc.

Although TS7700 have a own web interface to manage the systems/grid, with that integration customer will not need to access this interface, much more safe way to avoid a problem.

This also can lead to exploit the FCM into the future of the platform and logical corruption detection features (by software or by hardware accelerated).

    This will start with inventory data with additional functionality coming in future releasees
