Ability to change the time zone of TS7700 / TSSC NTP server etc currently stuck with UTC

I had a case open with IBM as we have setup alerting for the TSSC and TS7700 devices which go to a logging and monitoring tool. We noticed that the time on the events that were coming from the devices were in UTC. After looking at changing the time settings and seeing if I could add an NTP server address to correct the time I was unable to do so.

IBM have said that the TS7700s can not be changed from UTC, this causes us a headache because when we are in BST the events appear to have been triggered and hour before they actually were in the logging and monitoring tool.

I just want to be able to setup the TS7700 and TSSC with local times and have the ability to change time format.

The TSSC has options for an NTP server but when I tried this it didn't work the messages continued to be sent in UTC so I have my doubts that even this works for TSSC.

    We have Development investigating. The TS7700 TSSC, and NTP server times will remain UTC. We are looking into a way for end users to be able to use time zones and convert, for example RSYSLOG. No firm commitments at this time.
